SPA ETIQUETTE
RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
• A major credit card number is required upon booking.
Prepayments are required for all Saturday and holiday
appointments.
• Service changes must be made prior to the time and date of
your appointment to ensure the availability of the
appropriate staff.
•We recommend that clients schedule their next spa service
prior to leaving Whispering Waters Day Spa.
• Appointments are very highly recommended. We will do
our best to accommodate walk-ins, but to ensure the time
and services you wish to receive, appointments are essential.
• When canceling or rescheduling a reservation, please give
us at least 24 hours notice for all reservations. This will
prevent any billing of your credit card or gift certicate.
Reservations cancelled without appropriate notice are due
in full. This courtesy enables us to compensate our
employees for their time, to schedule other appointments,
and maintain a higher availabilty of our service to you as
well as others.
APPOINTMENTS
• Our scheduling is designed to permit the correct time needed to complete
your
spa services. Please help by arriving 30 minutes early so that no one will
wait for
their service. Late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service,
and
with certain types of appointments, the service will not be able to be performed
(you will still be charged for the service if You are tardy).
• Nail clients please note: We allow one hour per pedicure and one half
hour per
manicure. Please take the time to dry your nails thoroughly after these services,
as we may not have time to correct smudged nails.
• Our success is built on service. To ensure our clients receive the treatment
they
want, need, and deserve, we consult with, and listen to you before each service.
We hope the outcome is always satisfying.
• Massage and spa treatment duration is based on a “professional hour”,ie.,
approximately 50 minutes to allow the client to relax for a couple of moments
and arise from the massage table without haste.
• If you feel you would be more comfortable or better served by another
staff
member, or if you would like a different perspective, please let us know. We
are
professionals, and are happy to have clients work with all staff members.
• Whispering Waters Day Spa therapists give full body Swedish massage except
for
females/males genital areas. Further more, massage therapists do not engage
in
breast massage of female clients. Full body draping will be used throughout
the
duration of the massage sessions.
• We offer unique treatments and services unlike any other found in Central
Texas.
We cater to our client’s specific needs and desires. We address the most
basic
necessities even if your most urgent need is absolute pampering. We are known
for legendary customer service!
• Most body treatments are enjoyed by women without clothing. Undergarments
may be worn, if preferred. Most importantly, wear what is comfortable for you.
(Men are required to wear disposable boxers or briefs during any/all body
treatments.)
• This is your time and you should delight in your experience to the fullest.
Whether
it’s the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume
of the
music...just let us know. You have it all at Whispering Waters Day Spa!
• Our spa area is reserved for clients receiving treatments only.
• If you have high blood pressure, allergies, or any other physical ailment
or disability,
or if you are pregnant, please notify our receptionist before booking your
visit so
we can accommodate your needs.
OTHER INFORMATION
• To insure a healthful environment for
our clients, no smoking is permitted at Whispering Waters Day Spa.
• All prices are subject to change.
• On holidays, there will be a surcharge of $10.00.
• We are always open to suggestions. Please let us know if we
can do anything to better serve you.
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Debit
cards, personal checks, gift certificates and cash payments for
services and products.
• Thank you for keeping your valuables at home. While we do
provide lockers for personal use, Whispering Waters Day Spa
is not responsible for lost or stolen property. No contract of
bailment or any purpose is intended by the provision of lockers.
• All product returns are for spa credit or product exchanges
only and must be requested within 30 days.
• To prolong the benefits of our special services and treatments,
Whispering Waters Day Spa offers skin and spa products that
are available for you to purchase for home use.
• We hold nature and the environment in the highest regard.
That is why Whispering Waters Day Spa recycles and uses
recycled paper products when possible. You can be sure that
Whispering Waters Day Spa products are never tested on
animals.
• Whispering Waters Day Spa believes in providing ongoing
training for our staff. As our professionals learn and exercise
their talents, you benefit from the results.
• Whispering Waters Day Spa follows all stateboard sanitation
and sterilization guidelines.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES
• There are absolutely no refunds on gift certificates,
nor are they transferable.
• Gift certificates devalue $25 after the expiration date, and
$50 each year thereafter, and are not valid for gratuities for
therapists after expired. You may purchase products with
expired gift certificates.
• Tipping is always left to the discretion of our clients. Gift
certificates for packages do not include tips unless they are
included by the purchaser of the gift certificate.
